I am working to change the way real estate is done. Here’s a brief description of my work ethic and business philosophy: the Artem August Advantage.
I believe in:
- providing value for money and working hard for it;
- Straightforward advice and upfront communication;
- treating your goals, and your money, like it’s my own; and,
- working to buy or sell your property, not myself.

Honesty:
Unfortunately, some realtors work harder at selling themselves to clients, rather than their home or condo. Even in a brisk market, MLS can’t do my job for me.
My business starts with making sure that you have the best information available, without pressure tactics. That means making sure all of your options are explained, so you can decide.
Personal Service:
Your realtor should work to sell your property for the best price and under the best conditions. These are my commitments to you:
I will:
- attend every showing personally, and work with you to schedule regular open houses;
- report regularly on showings and open houses, and promptly inform you of any and all interest in your property; and,
- spend up-front cash in marketing your property.
I won’t:
- use lock-boxes on your property;
- give out your keys to other real estate professionals for showings; and,
- rely on “passive market forces” to deliver a sale;
Meaningful specialization:
In BC, real estate professionals are licensed for the entire province. Everyone knows that in Real Estate, location is often the most important factor. So, why compromise the most effective marketing tool your property has, its location, by hiring a realtor who knows little or nothing about the area? It doesn’t make sense. I believe in delivering the maximum benefit to my clients, and this is my commitment to you:
I will:
- personally service only those listings that are within my currently marketed areas..
- refer out-of-area business to a professional in my network, and monitor the progress of that transaction as a benefit to my client.
- use all of my available time to work in your area and on your listings
- keep my current on developments in your submarket and community.
Accurate, dependable pricing advice:
In my experience, sellers often choose a realtor who quotes them the highest price for their property, out of fear that those who come in lower will not work hard enough to maximize results. This is not always true. Anyone can pull large numbers out of the air and get lucky in a brisk market. My commitment to you is:
I will:
- work hard, regardless of listing the price agreed upon with you;
- establish an accurate price-range for your property based on the latest market statistics, particulars of your property, and current buyer expectations.
